Vermont Castings Dutchwest Inner Door Part# 30004710A Specification:

Part# 30004710A is the replacement Inner Door for Vermont Castings Wood Stoves.  This part is used to protect and insulate the side loading door on the stove.  The inner load door was previously made from a stone or refractory material, however it has been updated and is now made out of cast iron for increased durability.

Vermont Castings has had a challenging history. Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy.
