Energy Upgrades for homeowners
Share
The City of Ottawa is ready to help residents invest in home energy upgrades.
Homeowners can now receive $700 per ton for eligible air-source and mini-split heat pumps and $1000 per ton plus $5 per metre of well or loop for eligible ground-source heat pump systems. Homeowners who choose a heat pump that meets the program requirements may also be able to combine these incentives with other available rebates and funding programs, maximizing their savings.
To help reduce upfront costs, the program will also offer a $600 energy audit rebate per application, while funding lasts.
These new program additions give Ottawa homeowners more support and more savings to make energy-efficient upgrades that improve comfort, reduce emissions, and lower energy costs.
