Part# 0000307 is the replacement bottom heat-shield assembly for Vermont Castings woodstoves. The assembly includes the bottom heat shield along with all the hardware and fasteners needed to install the heatshield.

Vermont Castings has had a challenging history. Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy.
