Part# 30002439A is the replacement Load Door II for Vermont Castings wood and coal stoves. Fits the following models:

Note: 

When used on stoves built pre-June 2005 you must also replace refractory and insulation.

Vermont Castings has had a challenging history. Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy.
