This is a genuine replacement part from FPI Regency Fireplaces.  This part ships new in original packaging.  This is not an after-market copy equivalent.

This is the official air control handle coil from Regency.  The Matt Black coil fits on the end of the air control assembly.  This is the official coil from Regency and is new in original packaging.

Purpose: The door latch assembly allows for a proper connection between the screen door and the wood fireplace.

Other Notes: Its worth checking to see if the the Regency air tubes or glass gasket in your wood stove need replacing at the same time.
