This is a genuine Regency Fireplaces replacement part.  This replacement Regency Catalyst Combuster Cartridge ( 021-531 ) fits a few models of Regency fireplaces and stoves.  This is a genuine Regency replacement part that ships new in original packaging.

The Regency Catalyst allows smoke to burn inside the firebox chamber ensuring a longer and cleaner burn.  Unfortunately, catalysts wear out over time and need to be replaced.
