Products Description:

This is an official Regency Replacement Top Baffle Kit (2 parts).  This Regency baffle ships new in original Regency packaging.

This is a vermiculite baffle for many Regency wood burning stoves and wood burning inserts.  Each baffle measures approximately 9.5″ x 12 3/4″ (per baffle).  Some older models had ceramic baffles – but these are no longer available.

Purpose: Baffles in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  If they are damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips: Often to there is a trick in replacing top baffles. It will take some time and patience.

Other Notes: This is a set of two baffles (as seen in the pictures).  You may also want to replace the door or window gasket at the same time.
