Vermont Castings Handle Additions: Vermont Castings has had a challenging history.  Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy.   This is the replacement cast iron andiron for Consolidated Dutchwest wood and coal stove models but may also fit on many of the other manufacturers and models based on size and shape
