Part# 7001198A is the replacement side wear plate for Vermont Castings wood stoves. This part measures 10-11/16″ x 5-3/4″ x 3/4″. This also measures 9-3/4″ between the holes.

Vermont Castings has had a challenging history. Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy.
