Part# 5005775 is the replacement new ashpan assembly for original Vermont Castings Woodstoves. Measurements: 14 x 11-3/4 x 2 Deep. This ash pan is a new style with handle, no cover is needed. Use with stationary grates. Fits the following models:

Vermont Castings has had a challenging history. Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy.
