Products Description:

This is the official FPI Fireplace Products Regency genuine replacement part tadpole glass gasket.  This is a genuine Regency replacement part that ships new in original packaging.

Glass gasket for many models of Regency Gas inserts and fireplaces and measures 8′ in length x 2 ¹/₂″ wide

Purpose: Glass gasket is a barrier between the glass and steel.  When the gasket starts to wear out, the unit will leak air and cause the fireplace to over fire which may lead to damage.  If the gasket fails, the glass in the fireplace may also crack.

Installation tips: Please ensure that the gasket is even all the way around the glass.

For some models they call for part number 936-155 – most folks will use this gasket instead of the 936-155.  This one is slightly wider but works just the same.
